There will always be that place where you’ll fall in love. That place where you never thought love could flourish unexpectedly. And that place (well, for me) is the island of Cebu in the Philippines.

“Thank you, World.”

Dear People of the World,

It’s been three months after the super typhoon Haiyan struck. But we will never forget how you have helped us. You generously lend your hands so we can rebuild our lives. You have sailed a thousand miles to help us bring smiles to our face again. You have crossed the boarders to hug us with hope and prayers. You have took even the social networking sites to ameliorate our sufferings. And most importantly you have risk your lives to ameliorate our lives after the monstrous storm.

Thank you very much from the bottom of our hearts for the things you have done and is doing to help us after the super typhoon – ‘from sending relief goods, doing medical missions, all the way to pledging funds for the reconstruction of infrastructure‘. We, the Philippine people, have made a number of posters to say our ‘thank you’.

#PHThankYou Thank You World

And together with our Department of Tourism, the 97.704 million Filipinos have launched a one-minute ‘Thank You, World‘ video on YouTube.

I am nearing the end of this ‘not-so open letter to you’, my dear world. I know you maybe annoyed of how many thank you’s I have written here. But I wouldn’t say sorry because saying those words meant a billion bucks. (Smiles).

So to really end this, I have edited our photo which was taken last year at Gigantes Group Of Islands ( one of the areas hit by Super Typhoon Haiyan) to show my thank you to the kindness and love you have shown us.

I hope you liked it!
